Steve joined de Carteret Wealth in May 2022, bringing with him a wealth of bookkeeping and accounting experience. A Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, Steve has spent decades mastering the world of finance.

His accounting journey began all the way back in 1983, when he joined the client accounting team at Deloitte Haskins & Sells. Since then, he has built a distinguished career in client accounting, working with both large international banks and independent trust companies.

Now embracing semi-retirement, Steve has opted for a part-time role at de Carteret Wealth, balancing his financial expertise with a bit more time to enjoy life’s pleasures.

At home, Steve is no stranger to being bossed around—especially since he happens to be the partner of our very own Managing Director, Helen! When he’s not crunching numbers, he can often be found on the golf course at Les Ormes or somewhere more exotic, traveling, or cheering on Tottenham Hotspur. He’s also the designated household wine (or water) refiller—ensuring Helen’s glass is always topped up when needed!
