Born and raised in Yorkshire, Steve has an impressive business background spanning multiple sectors, including insurance, lending, banking, credit, mortgages, and compliance. After graduating with a Business Studies degree from the University of Huddersfield, he moved to Jersey in 1996, where he has since played a key role in numerous successful business ventures.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Steve was the founding principal of Acorn Mortgages, leading the company to win Business of the Year at the 2009 Jersey Enterprise Awards. Today, he runs his own consultancy service, advising Jersey-based businesses on financial management, corporate governance, compliance, and business development.

When he’s not offering expert guidance, Steve can often be found at a Bruce Springsteen concert—a true fan who travels the world to see “The Boss” live! He’s also a dedicated supporter of Leeds Rhinos Rugby League Club, enjoys regular gym sessions, and has a passion for wildlife, nature, walking, and photography.
