Catherine began her career in education, working as an English and Special Educational Needs teacher in London before transitioning into the corporate world through a General Management Graduate Scheme with Transport for London. This diverse background has given her a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving and relationship management, and even included a memorable six-week stint driving a London Underground train.

After returning home to Jersey in 2018, Catherine retrained in financial planning and joined de Carteret Wealth in the summer of 2026. Catherine enjoys building strong relationships with clients and developing financial plans that help them achieve what matters most, whether that’s preparing for retirement, growing their wealth, or creating long-term financial security for their families.
Outside of work, Catherine is married to James, and together they have two young children. Alongside building a family, they share a passion for financial planning and often work closely together at de Carteret Wealth. Catherine enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle and is passionate about tennis, travel and making the most of Jersey’s coastline, often spending her free time exploring the island’s beaches and coastal paths with family, friends and their dog.
