With a 1st class degree in Economics & Business and a Distinction in his master’s, James has always had a passion for finance. He began his career at Transport for London, leading commercial strategy projects before transitioning into financial planning.

Since moving to Jersey, James has helped individuals and families make smart, strategic financial decisions. He joined de Carteret Wealth in 2021, became a Board member in 2024, and is now a shareholder, ensuring the firm remains independent and client-focused.

James enjoys getting to know his clients and helping them achieve their goals with a clear, structured financial plan. Outside of work, he loves coastal living with his wife and two young daughters and hopes to pass on his passion for sailing.
