Shani has been working within the Finance Sector in Jersey for over 28 years. She was an Investment manager for HSBC Offshore before pursuing a career as an Independent Financial Adviser. Shani has been an IFA for over 18 years proving financial planning advice to Jersey residents covering areas such as; pensions, investments, insurances, savings, mortgages and retirement planning.
We welcomed Shani to the de Carteret Wealth team in March 2018 and she was appointed to the Board that same year. Shani and Helen then completed a Management Buy Out in November 2018.
Shani’s qualifications
Shani achieved the full FPC qualification in 1998 and completed the level 6 Private Client Investment Advice & Management Certificate in 2011. Her most recent success has been to gain the Level 6 Certificate in Pension Transfers & Planning Advice, becoming one of Jersey’s first fully qualified pension transfer specialists.
Shani is a member of the Chartered Insurance Securities Institute and is an active member of the Personal Financial Society and Chartered Insurance Institute in Jersey.
